Company Samed d.o.o. was established on May 06, 1997 after the execution of a Founding Agreement for Samed d.o.o. company with the number 1/ 97.
It started to operate on the Decision of the Cantonal Court of Sarajevo number 1-19143 dated July 14.1997 in the location Merhemiča trg bb. After the new Decision taken by the Federal Ministry of Trade with number 06-1839/99 dated 03.06.1999 the Company's Chapter was aligned with the Legislation on Foreign Investments and wholesale supply of medical consumables was confirmed. On 07.05.2002 the Federal Ministry of Health passed the Decision on Wholesale Drugs with number 05-37-2393/02 which, following the new Law on Drugs Trading passed in 2005, was reconfirmed by the same Ministry's Decision number 05-37-7090/04 dated 01.02.2005. In compliance with new European regulations, the Federal Ministry of Health also passed for Samed d.o.o., in 2007, the Decision on Trade of Medical Aids with number 05-37-1572/06 dated 12.03.2007.
During 2002 the company moved to its own premises in Radenka Abazoviča Street, 5.
Apart from the main goal established with the setting up of the company, i.e. the supply and distribution of drugs and medical consumables throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina and their export to Kosovo and Monte Negro, other targets are also pursued by Samed d.o.o., such as:
- compliance and implementation of the highest international standards ensuring both the quality of products and environmental safety
- creating the image of a successful and reliable company
- continued improvement of relations with business partners
- continuity in training of its employees
- quality improvement
- involvement of foreign partners in our system
- organisation of surrounding areas
The Company achieves its goals by regular participation in tenders issued by: Ministries of Health of the Federation and of the Republic of Srpska, Clinical centres, Cantonal hospitals, General hospitals, Ambulance stations, Public Medical centres and private health care institutions.
